Project information isn't locked after setup. You can come back anytime to fill in or correct details. As the page itself says: "Fill in what you know now, you can always come back to add more."
Steps
Open Projects (or press ⌘P) and click your project. You land on the Project Setup tab.
At the top, you can edit the project name, the company, the assigned Playbook (the owner or project type, which decides which contract packages this project can issue), and the project status (e.g. Active).
Under Project Details, update:
Awarded Date, Estimated Starting Date, and Estimated Completion Date
Project Number and Owner Project Number
Project Value (USD) and Contractor License
Project Stage
Click Save Changes in the bar at the bottom.
What happens next
Saved values flow into your documents through merge fields, so the project number, dates, and value auto-fill the next contract you generate from this project. The Project Health panel on the right keeps showing commitment and task progress as the project moves.
If this doesn't work
If a change doesn't appear in a contract → the document was generated before your edit; regenerate it to pick up the new values.
If you can't edit a field → check your role's access under Settings → Permission Groups; project editing is permission-controlled.
If you're unsure whether an edit saved → reload the page and confirm the value stuck before generating documents.
