Work through these in order. The fix is usually one of the first two.
Steps
Verify the email address. Open the contract's task page and check the Parties panel. Your own people (Coordinator, Authorized signer) sit under a Your team heading, above the vendor's people (Vendor contact, Vendor signer), who sit under the vendor's company name. Each row shows that person's email, and a typo here is the most common cause. You can swap one of your own team's rows only when you are one of the people named on it and the task is waiting on an internal signature or a document approval. The vendor's rows are read-only on your screen, so if the vendor's address is wrong, ask the vendor to correct it on their side or contact support.
Have them check spam and junk. Ask them to add the address the Contracts Connected notification came from to their safe-sender list.
Resend it. Dashboard → Tracker → the vendor's AI Insight panel → Send reminder on the signature item. The panel's Recent activity confirms when it went out.
Still nothing? Contact support with the signer's email address and the send time shown in Recent activity.
What happens next
Once the address is right, the resent email carries the same portal link, so the signer picks up exactly where the request left off. Nothing needs re-creating.
If this doesn't work
If the signer changed jobs or inboxes → you cannot reassign the Vendor signer from the Parties panel. Ask the vendor's team to change it on their side (their Review & sign card has a Change signer control), or contact support with the correct person's name and email.
If several vendors report missing emails at once → that points to email configuration rather than one bad address; escalate to support.
