Contracts Connected is where the general contractors you work for send you contracts and document requests, and where you review them, sign them, and send them back. Everything a prime is waiting on from you shows up in your account as a task, so you are not tracking it through email attachments.
Applies to: Vendors working under a prime in Contracts Connected. Your account has three items in the sidebar: Dashboard, Tasks, and Companies.
Steps
Sign in and start on Dashboard. It lists every project you have with a prime, with the columns Project, Commitment, Prime Project Number, Your Project Number, Prime, Value, Action, and Status. The Action column is the one to watch. It carries a count of the items waiting on you, written like "6 need action". Click that count to jump straight to Tasks narrowed to that project.

Open a project from Dashboard to see the detail for that job. The project page has Overview, Tasks, and Documents tabs, and Overview opens with an Action Required banner and a Complete your tasks button.

Click Tasks in the sidebar to work your whole list in one place. Each row shows the prime, the project number, the project, the document name, and a status. Across the tasks in this build those statuses read Transmitted, Not submitted, Signature required, Action required, and Awaiting work start.

Narrow the list when it gets long. The view dropdown above the list offers My action items, All open, Overdue, Executed, and All tasks. Filters groups the rest: Status, a Show waived tasks checkbox, Type (Contract, Document request, Transmittal, Change order, Certificate of insurance, SF-1413, Weekly certified payroll), Project, Vendor (this group lists the primes you work for), and Due (Any time, Overdue, Today, This week, Next 30 days). Click Apply to run the filter, or Save as view to keep it.

Open a task to see the document and everything attached to it. The task page shows the document name with its status badge, a WHAT YOU NEED TO DO panel with the button for that task, then Documents with the file and an Expand control, then Document history and Timeline. On a contract task you also get Review and sign and a Negotiation log.

Read the right-hand column of the task page to see who owns what. Parties splits into Your team and Prime, with the roles Your Contact, Your Signer, Prime Coordinator, and Prime Signer. Add team member sits under your side. Dates shows Sent, Due, and On-site work. Related documents groups the rest of the paperwork into Commitment package and On-site documentation.

Click Companies in the sidebar to see the primes you work for. The first column is Prime, along with Contact, Projects, Tasks, and Overdue. This page lists the general contractors who send you work. It does not list your own subcontractors.
the Companies list with the Prime column
Open a prime from Companies to reach their Contractor Profile. It has five tabs: Overview, Your Setup, Commitments & Documents, Activity, and Contacts & Info. Click Your Setup for the standing paperwork that prime needs from your company, separate from any one project. It is 14 items: 8 under Required Information (Company Name, Company Address, Primary Contact, Authorized Signer, EIN / Tax ID, Trades, Company Phone, Bank / Payment Info) and 6 under Required Documents (W-9, Certificate of Insurance (ACORD 25), Contractor License, Workers Comp COI, EMR Letter, Safety Program / OSHA 300A). Anything not on file shows Action Required.

What happens next
Where you stand with each prime is readable in three places, so you do not have to ask. Dashboard carries the Action count on the row. A prime's Contractor Profile header shows VENDOR SETUP as a number out of 14 with the remaining count beside it, OUTSTANDING as tasks need attention, and EXPIRING ≤ 30 DAYS, with a compliance badge next to the company name (for example Non-Compliant). Tasks carries a status on every row. Contracts Connected calculates all of these. There is no control to edit them yourself.
If this doesn't work
If your sidebar only shows Dashboard, Tasks, and Companies → that is correct for a vendor account. Those three are the whole WORKSPACE nav.
If you opened Companies expecting your own subcontractors → Companies lists the primes you work for. Your own subs are not managed from a vendor account.
If a prime says they sent something and you cannot find it → open Tasks, click Filters, and use Clear all to drop any filter you left on. Then check the Show waived tasks checkbox, since a waived item is hidden by default. Also check the view dropdown, since it can be sitting on a narrower view than All tasks.
If you are not sure what a specific document is → open the project and click the information icon next to the document in the Contract package table. It reads "What is [document name]?".
If a task says Awaiting work start and you cannot do anything on it → that task is a recurring series. The page reads "This recurring series can't schedule its periods until the on-site work start date is set." Use Open the contract on that page to get to the contract it is waiting on.
If you would rather ask than hunt → click Chat with AI in the sidebar and pick one of the suggested questions, such as "My COI status" or "Documents I still owe".
