You can follow a contract at three zoom levels: the pipeline, the project, and the contract itself.
Steps
Open Dashboard and select the Pipeline tab.
Find the commitment's card in its column (Draft, In Review, Ready to Send, Out for Signature, Negotiations).
Click the card's action button to open the work itself. The label matches the stage: Continue drafting, Review & Approve, Send to vendor, Sign now (or Waiting on vendor), Review redlines. When no action is yours to take, the card shows View instead, or View draft in the Draft column.
On the contract's task page, read the status chip under the title and the Dates and Parties panels on the right.
What happens next
As the vendor signs or responds, the status chips and pipeline column update automatically, with no manual status-setting. Overdue items are flagged in red everywhere they appear, and land in your Dashboard action items and Inbox.
The big picture: Dashboard Pipeline
Dashboard → Pipeline shows every commitment as a card moving through columns: Draft → In Review → Ready to Send → Out for Signature → Negotiations. Each card names the vendor, project, who's drafting or issuing, and how long it's been waiting (e.g. "Waiting for vendor to sign · 14d").
The project view
Open the project → Commitments tab. Six tiles run across the top (Awaiting my approval, Out for signature, Non-compliant, Pending change orders, Overdue, Drafts). Click one to filter the list below. Each commitment row carries its current status and its contract value.
The contract itself
Open the contract's task page. Status chips sit under the title (e.g. redlines in review, overdue), the Dates panel shows assigned and due dates, the Parties panel shows who holds each role, and if the vendor proposed changes, the banner tells you redlines are waiting for your review.
If this doesn't work
If a contract seems stuck → open its task page and check the Dates panel and the current chip; the days-waiting counter on its pipeline card tells you how long.
If you can't find the contract → search its vendor or project with ⌘K.
