The Dashboard is one screen with three views (Tasks, Tracker, and Pipeline) plus four counters that stay on top in every view. This guide walks each section.
The four counters: who's waiting on whom
My action items: tasks waiting on you. This is your to-do list, and the red badge shows how many of them are overdue. Work your colleagues owe is counted separately and listed under On Our Team.
Waiting on vendor: everything blocked on a vendor. You don't need to act, but overdue items here are your cue to send reminders.
Vendors overdue: the number of unique vendors with at least one overdue or expired required document. Clicking it opens the Tracker in Commitment Packages mode filtered to Overdue.
Pipeline: commitments in motion, with drafts and overdue counts.
If you're ever unsure who a task is waiting on, that's exactly what the "All waiting on" filter is for. Set it to you or the vendor to split the list.
Filtering: slice the board your way
The filter bar works in every view:
All playbooks: narrow to one playbook. A playbook groups your contract packages by client or project type (federal, commercial, or a specific owner), and it decides which documents every vendor on that project receives.
All projects: see one project's items only.
All vendors: one vendor across all projects.
All task types: Countersign, Commitment Approval, COI, Change Order, Document, or Certified Payroll.
All waiting on: split by who owes the next move.
All statuses: multi-select one or more task statuses (Draft, Sent to vendor, Not Received, Under review, Countersignature Required, Approved, Rejected, Overdue, Expired). Tasks view only.
Search: type any task, vendor, or project name.
Combine them, e.g. one vendor plus one project plus overdue, to answer almost any "what's outstanding?" question.
Tasks view: categorize your pending items
Your Action Items groups tasks by urgency, Overdue first (in red), each row showing Task, Vendor, Project, Commitment, Action needed, Due, Owner, and Action. Work top-down. Use Expand all to open every group.
Reading the Action needed chips: amber means the action is yours (Continue drafting, Approve document, Sign document, Review redlines), grey means you are waiting on someone else (Waiting on plus the vendor or teammate's name), and green means Complete. A revoked task reads Revoked in grey. Overdue is not shown in this chip: it appears in red in the Due column and as the Overdue group header.
Tracker view: compliance at a glance
The Tracker is your compliance matrix: one row per commitment package, one column per required document (Subcontract Agreement, COI, W-9, Business License, Payment Bond, Certified Payroll, …). Choose Commitment Packages or On-Site Compliance. In Commitment Packages, filter with the All / Complete / Incomplete / Overdue chips, each showing a count. In On-Site Compliance, the chips are All / Complete / Incomplete.
Read the cell icons using the legend at top right:
Approved (green check): on file and passed review.
Under review: submitted, being checked.
Not Received: still owed by the vendor.
Overdue: past due.
Expired: was valid, no longer is; needs a current version.
Not requested (—): not part of this package.
Click AI Insight on any row for that vendor's gaps, one-click reminders, and the log of when they were last nudged.
Pipeline view: where every commitment stands
Commitments move left to right; each column tells you what's expected:
Draft: being written. Your move: finish drafting and submit it for review.
In Review: with your internal approvers. Your move: the assigned approver reviews and approves (or requests changes).
Ready to Send: approved, waiting to go out. Your move: send it to the vendor.
Out for Signature: with the vendor. Your move: none, unless it stalls. The days counter shows how long it's been waiting; send a reminder if it's overdue.
Negotiations: the vendor proposed redlines. Your move: review the tracked changes and accept, reject, or revise.
Each card names the vendor, project, who's acting, and how long it's been waiting.
