How do I see everything that's happened on a project?

Written by Zach Koerber

Every action on a project, including status changes, uploads, approvals and reminders, is logged in the project's Activity tab. It's your audit trail: who did what, and when.

Steps

  1. Open Projects, click your project, then click the Activity tab. The badge shows the total event count.

  2. Scan the stat tiles at the top: Events Today, last 7 Days, Total, plus 7-day counts for People, Vendors, and Approvals.

  3. Filter the feed by People, Vendors, Document Type, Action, or Date Range to isolate what you're looking for.

  4. Read the entries. Each one names who acted (or Auto for system actions), what happened, which task and vendor it involved, and the timestamp.

  5. Click Export to pull the log out, which is useful for audits and disputes.

What happens next

The feed updates as work happens; automatic system actions (like scheduled reminders) are labeled Auto so you can tell them apart from human actions. Nothing needs maintenance. The trail builds itself.

If this doesn't work

  • If you're hunting one specific event → combine two filters (e.g. the vendor + a date range) instead of scrolling.

  • If an expected event is missing → confirm you're on the right project, and widen the Date Range filter.

  • If you need vendor-level rather than project-level history → the vendor's profile has its own Recent activity log.
