One search box finds your projects, vendors, and tasks from any page. To find a template, open Templates in the left sidebar and search there.
Steps
Click Search… at the top of the left sidebar.
Type what you're looking for. Search covers project names and numbers, vendor names, and task titles. The field's own hint reads Search projects, vendors, tasks….
Results appear grouped by type (Vendors, Tasks, and so on) with helpful context on the right, like the project a task belongs to or a vendor's location.
Use the ↑ ↓ arrow keys to move through results, ↵ Enter to open the highlighted one, and Esc to close.
What happens next
Opening a result takes you straight to that item's page: the vendor's profile, the project, or the task. ⌘K toggles search from anywhere, so you never need to navigate back to a list page just to find something.
If this doesn't work
If you get too many similar results (e.g. several vendors with near-identical names) → check the context shown on the right of each result to pick the right one.
If nothing comes up → try a shorter fragment (part of the name or number) rather than the full title, but keep it to at least two characters. Search does not look up projects, vendors, or tasks for a single character.
