To create or manage a scope approval workflow, open Settings, select Projects, click Scope Approvals, and complete the workflow form by selecting the job titles that will draft and approve scopes of work.
When to Use This
Use this when setting up or managing internal workflows for scope of work drafting, review, approval, and purchasing limits used in project contracts.
Create a Scope Approval Workflow
Click the Settings icon.
Under Projects.
Click Scope Approvals.
Enter a name for the Scope Approval Workflow.
Select the job title for users who may draft a scope of work for a vendor.
Select the job title for users who will approve the scope of work for contract packages.
Save the workflow.
View, Edit, or Delete a Workflow
Go to Settings.
Under Projects.
Click Scope Approvals.
Locate the Scope Workflow Name section on the right side of the page.
Select an existing workflow.
Edit or delete the workflow as needed.
Notes or Rules
Scope approval workflows define the internal review and approval process for scopes of work.
Workflow roles are assigned using job titles, not individual user names.
Job titles must match the titles assigned to users in their account settings.
Because the workflow uses job titles, user names do not appear in the workflow configuration.
