Go to Settings → Employees & invites, click the person's name, then click the Role value under Organization and pick the new role. Click Save.
There is no separate edit button on this page. You click the value itself, and it becomes editable in place.

Steps
Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, then click Settings.
Under ORGANIZATION, click Employees & invites.
Click the person's name to open Employee details.
Find the Organization block. Click the current Role value, for example Admin.
Choose the new role from the list: Admin, Manager, Collaborator, or View Only.
Click Save. Cancel discards the change and leaves the old role in place.
What happens next
The new role takes effect for that person's account. Admin is the highest level of access and is the role that can reach Settings and configure the organization. View Only is the most limited. Manager and Collaborator sit between the two.
For the exact permissions attached to each role, open Settings → Permission groups, described on the Settings page as "Roles and access levels for your team".
One thing to check while you are on the page: Signer Authority sits in the same Organization block, separate from Role, and shows whether that person is allowed to sign documents. If you are changing what someone is responsible for, review that field as well rather than assuming the role covers it.
If this doesn't work
Clicking the Role value does nothing → your own role does not have permission to manage team members. Ask an Admin in your account to make the change.
You changed the role but the person still cannot do the thing they need → the blocker may be Signer Authority or their Entity Access, both listed in the same Organization block. Check those before changing the role again.
You want them out of the account entirely → changing the role is not the same as removing access. Use Remove in the Status block instead.
