Your team lives in two Settings pages: Employees & invites (who's on the team) and Permission groups (what each role can do).
Steps
Managing team members
Open Settings from your profile menu, then click Employees & invites.
You'll see every team member with their Role, Status, and Last Login. Filter by role, office, or status to find someone fast.
Click Invite to add a new team member.
Understanding permission groups
Open Settings → Permission groups to see (and configure) what each access level can do. Changes apply to all users with the selected role. The Admin column is locked. Admins always hold every permission and their checkboxes cannot be changed. You can configure Manager, Collaborator, and View Only. There are four levels:
View Only: can look, not touch. The most restricted level.
Collaborator: can work in most areas (projects, tasks, documents) but not manage account setup.
Manager: full access to day-to-day work areas.
Admin: everything, including Account & Billing and Account Setup & Configuration.
Permissions are organized by area (Projects, Tasks & Documents, Companies, Users, Employees, Templates, Insights & Report, Account & Billing Info, and Account Setup & Configuration), so you can see exactly which permissions each level holds in each area. Depending on the area the permissions include View, Communication, Create, Edit, Delete, Assign, Approve, and Sign.
What happens next
New invitees appear in Employees & invites with an Invited status until they accept and log in, at which point the status becomes Active. You can filter the list to them with the All Statuses dropdown set to Invited. When you change a permission group, everyone with that role gets the new access immediately, so you don't have to update people one by one.
If this doesn't work
If a teammate can't see or do something they should → check which role they hold in Employees & invites, then confirm that role's access in Permission groups.
If someone needs just one extra capability → consider whether the next role up fits, since permissions apply per role rather than per person.
