Short Answer

Open the project scope, click Push Commitment (Internal approvals must have already been done for this scope), complete all steps, and click Confirm and Send to send the contract package to the subcontractor.

When to Use This

Use this when you need to send the contract package to the subcontractor for signature.

Steps

Click Projects.

Open the project you want to work in.

Open the relevant Scope.

Click Push Commitment.

Step 1: Assigned Users

Review all assigned users.

Confirm the default signer and assigned users are correct for your team and the vendor.

Click Save and Next.

Step 2: Review Package

Review the contract package documents.

Confirm all required documents are correct.

Delete with the red trash can if they are not needed or use add document button to add missing needed docs to the package.

Click Save and Next.

Step 3: Merge Fields

Review all merge fields.

Confirm all required information is correct.

(Optional) Select the checkbox to ignore missing data if needed. This will create blank spaces where those fields are. - Not recommended

Click Save and Next.

Step 4: Confirm and Send

Review the final package.

(Optional) Preview the contract.

(Optional) Download the contract package (this will download a zip file of all the contract package docs on your desktop fully filled out).

Click Send Contract Package.

Notes

  • All steps must be completed before sending the package.

  • Merge fields determine what information appears in the contract.

  • Use the checkbox to proceed if some fields are not required.

  • Once sent, the subcontractor receives an email notification to review and sign.
