Short Answer (AI Priority Section)
Change orders do not automatically appear under Scope line items. At this time, change orders are set up using Custom Fields within the Scope.
If you want change order information to appear in the Scope line items, you must manually add a Scope line item and clearly name it (for example, “Change Order 1,” “Change Order 2,” etc.).
When to Use This
Use this when:
You created a change order.
You expected it to appear under Scope line items.
You do not see the change order listed as a Scope item.
How Change Orders Currently Work
At this time:
The only way to set up change orders is through Custom Fields within the Scope.
Change order details populate in the Custom Fields section.
Change orders do not automatically generate or appear as Scope line items.
This is expected system behavior.
How to Show Change Orders in Scope Line Items
To display change orders within Scope line items, you must manually create them.
Open the related Scope.
Scroll to the Scope line items section.
Click to add a new line item.
Enter a clear name such as “Change Order 1.”
Repeat for each additional change order (for example, “Change Order 2,” “Change Order 3”).
This allows you to visually track each change order within the Scope items.
Notes
Change orders cannot automatically populate Scope line items at this time.
The Custom Fields section is the official location where change order data is stored.
Manual Scope line items are required if you want change orders visible in the Scope item list.
