Dive into the core functionalities of our Construction Document Management Platform with this video overview, focusing on how to manage contracts, documents, and tasks effectively. This guide is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate and utilize these crucial features to streamline your document management process.

1. Access Your Dashboard Overview

Purpose

The Dashboard gives you a live overview of all your open contracts, scopes, and assigned tasks.
This section shows what’s due, what’s overdue, and what needs your attention.

Steps

  1. From your main navigation, click My Dashboard.

  2. In the top section, you’ll see a count of your active tasks — for example, “32 tasks,” some of which may be overdue.

  3. This area represents items that are solely your responsibility to complete or push forward.

💡 Tip: The goal is to reduce the number of overdue items shown here — your dashboard helps prioritize them automatically.

2. Review Task Details

Steps

  1. Click on the task count or specific task category to view detailed items.

  2. Each task includes:

    • Document name

    • Status (e.g., Pending Submission, Pending Acknowledgment, Signature Required)

    • Due Date

If a task becomes overdue, a red circle will appear next to it, indicating it requires immediate action.

3. View Tasks by Project

If you’d like to see tasks or contracts related to a specific project:

Steps

  1. Go to the Projects section in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click into the desired project (e.g., ABC Building Repair and Repaint).

  3. Within the project, you’ll see:

    • Pending Submissions

    • Pending Acknowledgments

    • Signature Required items

  4. Each of these categories lists due dates and task statuses, helping you see which items are nearing deadlines.

💡 Tip: Overdue items display red indicators, allowing you to quickly spot what needs attention.

4. Work Through Documents from the Dashboard

You can take action on any task directly from your dashboard view.

Steps

  1. Click a task item to open it — for example, your Drywall Scope created in a previous workflow.

  2. Within the task view, you can:

    • Drag and drop new documents into the scope.

    • Upload signed contracts manually if needed.

Normally, subcontractors will upload their signed contracts themselves,
but you have the option to upload documents in bulk for convenience if they email them to you directly.

5. Stay Organized by Project and Scope

From the Projects page, you can:

  • Review all tasks organized by project name.

  • Sort tasks by due date to prioritize upcoming work.

  • Drill down into specific scopes to view contract statuses — for example:

    • “Contract Sent”

    • “Contract Not Yet Signed or Returned”

💡 Tip: When a contract becomes overdue, the system automatically flags it in red, notifying you that action is required.

6. Daily Workflow Tips

  • Start your day on the Dashboard: Quickly review overdue and pending items.

  • Use red indicators as priorities: These mark items that need immediate attention.

  • Upload efficiently: Use drag-and-drop to attach missing or signed documents.

  • Stay in sync: Check project-specific views to ensure all contracts are progressing through the workflow stages.

7. Key Takeaway

The Dashboard is your central command center.
It automatically surfaces overdue tasks, pending contracts, and actionable items — helping you focus on what matters most each day without manual tracking.
