The Projects page shows three project statuses: Active, Closed, and Draft. Filter the list to any one of them with the Active projects, Closed projects, and Draft projects tabs above the table.
Once you have a few jobs in the system, the status tabs are the fastest way to see only the ones you care about.
Applies to: All users
Steps
In the left sidebar, click Projects, or press ⌘P.
Click All projects to see every project regardless of status.
Click Active projects for the jobs that are open and being worked on. A project sits here once it has been created and is running.
Click Closed projects for jobs that are finished and no longer need attention.
Click Draft projects for projects you started but did not finish creating. A project lands here when you use Save draft on the New Project form instead of Create project.
To check one project without switching tabs, read the Status column in the table. If that column is hidden, click the gear icon at the far right of the table's header row and tick Status in the Columns list.
What happens next
The table redraws to show only the projects with that status. A tab displays a count next to its name when there are projects in that status, so you can see how many you are about to look at before you click. Choosing a tab only changes what you see, it does not change any project.
Active, Closed, and Draft are the statuses the Projects page filters on. The New Project form also has a Select status control, so the starting status of a new project is set there. Check that control for the full list of options it offers.
If this doesn't work
A project is missing from the tab you expected → click All projects first to confirm it still exists. Also check whether you are sitting on My projects, which narrows the list to your own projects rather than everything in the company.
Draft projects opens an empty list → nobody has saved a draft yet. Drafts only appear after someone uses Save draft on the New Project form.
You cannot open the Projects page at all → your role may not include access to projects. Ask an Admin at your company to check your role in Settings.
